Browns Injury Alert: WR Cedric Tillman exits game vs. Bengals with a concussion

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman exits game vs. Bengals with a head injury

Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Cedric Tillman suffered a concussion during the fourth quarter of the game versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Tillman hit his head on the turf after snagging an eighteen-yard pass. The rookie receiver was immediately escorted into the medical tent.

The Cleveland Browns rested most of their starters after securing the fifth seed in the AFC playoffs last week. The team hoped they could decrease the injury risk of their starting unit. Unfortunately, the Browns cannot escape the horrible injury luck that has haunted the team all season.

Tillman was finishing his rookie season on a strong note. The receiver became a big part of the offense after the Browns traded wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones at the trade deadline. Today, Tillman had three receptions for 43 yards.

The Cleveland Browns need Tillman’s physicality as the team starts their playoff run next week. The big-bodied receiver is an important threat on the outside. His style of play compliments fellow receivers Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore perfectly. He is an important piece of the offense.
