Browns: Deshaun Watson wants to be better than he was in Houston

The quarterback believes he has improved and evolved since 2020 season in Houston.

This whole off-season it has been said the Cleveland Browns can be successful if quarterback Deshaun Watson returns to his Houston form from 2020. He struggled in the final six games of last season after not playing for over 700 days.

On Wednesday while talking about that statement Watson said he wants to be better than he was in Houston. From Jake Trotter on Twitter from the media availability.

“Deshaun Watson says he’s not interested in any talk about getting back to his 2019/20 levels in Houston. He says he’s aiming to be even better than that this season. “And I know I can be…”

Watson went on to talk about how he thinks he has evolved and grown since then.

“I’m not the same guy. I feel like I’ve improved. I’ve evolved to a new level. And I’m ready to be able to show that…”

It will be interesting to see if Watson can back up those words as the Browns season starts in four days.
