Browns announce 6 number changes ahead of Week 1 matchup vs. Bengals

Number changes have been made for six players

The NFL regular season is finally upon us as the Cleveland Browns prepare to face their in-state rival Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday in Cleveland Browns Stadium as rookies Cedric Tillman and Dawand Jones get set for their debuts. The place is likely to be packed for one of the most anticipated Browns seasons since the return in 1999.

The Browns have added talent all over the roster heading into this season which should result in more wins. They are faced with a tough task as the AFC North has four teams that could fight for the players and that’s without talking about the non-division teams that have elite quarterbacks.

As normal several players have made number changes after roster cutdowns make more available. With a total of 90 players going into training camp, it can be difficult for faces added late or rookies to get the number they want for the 2023 season.

Here’s a look at six players who have recently changed their number before the matchup with Cincinnati.
