Browns agree to terms with safety Andrew Sendejo on a 1-year deal

Andrew Berry and the new-look Cleveland Browns front office remain busy on the NFL free agency front. Per Mike Garafolo of NFL.com, the Browns have agreed to terms with safety Andrew Sendejo.

Sendejo will sign with the Browns on a one-year deal worth $2.25 million. He will reunite in Cleveland with head coach Kevin Stefanski and special teams coach Mike Priefer, under whom he played extensively with the Minnesota Vikings. The 32-year old played nine seasons in Minnesota, including part of the 2019 season that he began with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sendejo has been both a starter and a third safety over the course of his career. He is primarily a strong safety but does have some experience playing as a free safety as well. The 6-1, 201-pounder from Rice has long been a fixture on special teams as well.
