The Brooklyn Nets recently tweeted pictures of the City Edition uniforms they will be wearing for the 2023-2024 NBA season. The uniforms were created by KAWS, an American artists whose full name is Brian Donnelly. As you can see, the jerseys have some color to them similar to what you would see on murals with the way that the color schemes are shaped.
For anyone who has watched the Nets this season, they will notice that the City Edition for next season are completely different from the City Edition uniforms used for this season. The Statement Edition uniforms for this season were essentially all black and had a simple, solid design all the way through.
Looking forward to the 2023-2024 season, it seems that Nets fans are split on the new take on the uniforms. Some love it for its colorful and splashy design while some compare it to paint being thrown onto a canvas. Whatever the take is, it looks like Brooklyn is changing things up for next season.
