Brooklyn Nets quotes: James Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge and Patty Mills on win vs. Cavaliers

A satisfied Brooklyn Nets team sounds off after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Nets took care of business against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday and they showed their dominance right from the opening tip. After building a lead that was as big as 23, Brooklyn controlled the pace throughout the contest, taming some of the Cavs’ late efforts to try and get back into the game.

LaMarcus Aldridge (24 PTS, 7 REBS) and Patty Mills (21 PTS, 6 3PM) were forced to dig deep with the Nets missing key pieces. Of course, James Harden (27 PTS, 10 REBS, 7 ASTS) and Kevin Durant (23 PTS, 9-16 FG) showed up, but with limited options offensively, Mills and Aldridge took some pressure off of the two.

Brooklyn finished the game shooting 46% from the field and they attacked the interior all game, holding their own to put up 44 points in the paint.

Let’s take a look at what head coach Steve Nash, Harden, Aldridge and Mills had to say about the much needed victory.
