Beginning this Friday, the Denver Broncos will kick off and celebrate their Alumni Weekend, which will coincide with their celebration of the 25th anniversary of winning Super Bowl XXXIII. The celebration will begin Friday and conclude at halftime as the Broncos face off against the Washington Commanders in Week 2.
For Denver, more than 125 former Broncos players will attend the celebration.
For the celebration for Alumni Weekend, the team will celebrate members of the Broncos Ring of Fame, the Super Bowl XXXIII team, new Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware, and other coaches and staff for a private steak dinner at Shanahan’s Steakhouse on Friday. The next day, alumni will get the opportunity to watch the Broncos practice.
Later that Saturday night, they will also be honored at the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse for a reunion celebration. After the Broncos have an action-packed weekend as an organization, they’ll look to take care of business against the Commanders on Sunday.
