Broncos share amazing video of throwback uniforms

The Broncos’ social media team showed the team’s equipment managers putting the throwback uniforms together before Week 5.

The Denver Broncos are preparing for the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5, and they are going to turn back the clock to 1977.

This week, the Broncos will don their throwback jerseys worn from 1967-1996, for the first time since the team lost in the 1996 AFC divisional playoff game to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

To commemorate the historic induction of linebacker Randy Gradishar — the backbone of the “Orange Crush” defense — and his Pro Football Hall of Fame nod, the team will also be honoring members of the 1977 team, the first in franchise history to reach a Super Bowl.

Denver’s social media team released a video of equipment managers preparing helmets with the throwback decals, details of the jerseys, and a new team profile picture for the matchup of these longtime rivals:

The Broncos also re-shared the initial hype video from when the throwback uniforms were announced earlier this year:

These are by far the team’s most popular uniforms, and we’re eager to see them in action against the Raiders on Sunday.
