It’s never too early to talk about the next NFL Draft, right?
In his way-too-early 2021 NFL mock draft, Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling has the Denver Broncos selecting Ohio State cornerback Shaun Wade with the 11th overall pick in the first round.
This pick makes sense considering that cornerback made our list prediction of way-too-early 2021 draft needs for Denver. Unless the Broncos sign a left tackle during free agency, though, many fans will likely want the team to use their first-round selection on an offensive tackle.
Penn State inside linebacker Micah Parsons was also available in Easterling’s mock when Denver went on the clock. Easterling has Parsons going off the board to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 12.
The Broncos will need a long-term answer at cornerback but it’s hard to imagine the team passing on a top prospect like Parsons in 2021.
