Broncos remain ranked 25th in NFL power rankings this week

Even after a big upset win over the Chiefs, the Broncos remain ranked 25th in USA TODAY’s NFL power rankings.

After their 24-9 upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the Denver Broncos are ranked No. 25 in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. Despite the big win, that’s the same ranking Denver had last week.

Here is Davis’ commentary on the Broncos going into their bye week:

Their biggest win in years was appropriately celebrated with Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” cascading through Empower Field after Denver vanquished Travis Kelce and Kansas City … finally.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Chiefs are ranked No. 3, the Los Angeles Chargers are ranked No. 14 and the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 24. The Broncos remain the lowest-ranked team in the division.

The Buffalo Bills, who Denver will face on the road in Week 10, are ranked No. 8.

The Arizona Cardinals are ranked No. 32 (last) and the Philadelphia Eagles are ranked No. 1. To view the complete NFL power rankings going into Week 9, visit USATODAY.com.
