Broncos QB Bo Nix nominated for ESPN’s ‘HIMMY’ award

Go vote for Broncos QB Bo Nix!

I’m not sure who came up with ESPN’s HIMMY award, but they get an A for creativity.

ESPN will announce the winner of the HIMMY tonight during the Monday Night Football pregame broadcast. HIMMY is a play on the phrase “I’m Him,” which implies someone being the best at a particular task.

Due to his performance this week, Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix received a HIMMY nomination. He completed 27 of 38 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Nix will face some stiff competition tonight. Jayden Daniels threw a spectacular 52-yard touchdown to win the game for his Washington Commanders. Jalen Hurts had four total touchdowns, including three on the ground. And Jameis Winston capped off a 417-yard day with four touchdowns and a win for the Cleveland Browns.

Nevertheless, Nix getting the nomination is the icing on the cake after taking the Broncos to a 5-3 record this weekend. Good luck to Nix in the voting. Be sure you cast your vote here!
