Broncos moved up in projected 2022 NFL draft order during their bye week

After their bye, the Broncos are now on pace to select 13th overall in the 2022 NFL draft.

The Denver Broncos didn’t lose in Week 11 (they were on a bye), but the results of other games helped the team move up one spot in the projected order of picks for the 2022 NFL draft.

Here’s a look at the current order of the top 15 picks, courtesy of Tankathon.com.

1. Detroit Lions (0-9-1)
2. New York Jets (2-8)
3. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-8)
4. Houston Texans (2-8)
5. New York Giants (3-6)
6. New York Jets (via Seattle Seahawks, 3-7)
7. New York Giants (via Chicago Bears, 3-7)
8. Philadelphia Eagles (via Miami Dolphins, 4-7)
9. Atlanta Falcons (4-6)
10. Washington Football Team (4-6)
11. Philadelphia Eagles (5-6)
12. Carolina Panthers (5-6)
13. Denver Broncos (5-5)
14. Miami Dolphins (via San Francisco 49ers, 5-5)
15. Las Vegas Raiders (5-5)

The Broncos currently have 11 picks to use in next year’s draft, including five selections in the first three rounds. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Denver go after a quarterback with those extra picks in 2022, either by trading for an established veteran or by trading up for a QB prospect during the draft.

The 2022 NFL draft will be held in Las Vegas from April 28-30.
