Broncos injuries: Randy Gregory back, Russell Wilson limited at practice

Broncos QB Russell Wilson (concussion protocol) will be limited today, and OLB Randy Gregory (knee) has returned for Denver.

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson — who remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol — will practice on a limited basis on Thursday, coach Nathaniel Hackett announced.

Elsewhere on the injury front, Broncos outside linebacker Randy Gregory, who has been sidelined since Week 4 with a knee injury, returned to practice Wednesday and he was back out on the field again on Thursday.

This is a great sign for Gregory, who seems to be on track to play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Before going on IR, Gregory totaled seven quarterback hits, two sacks and two forced fumbles in Denver’s first four games of the season.

The Broncos have an open spot on the roster for Gregory after placing fellow outside linebacker Jacob Martin (knee) on injured reserve on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, right tackle Billy Turner (knee) is also back practicing this week, and he is also eligible to be activated from IR.

Denver’s complete Thursday injury report will be added below when it becomes available later today.

The Broncos will practice again on Friday before releasing a final injury report with game statuses for Sunday.
