Broncos injuries: Courtland Sutton did not practice Wednesday

Courtland Sutton (hamstring) will not practice today and “it’s not looking good” for him to be able to play against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (hamstring) will not practice Wednesday and “it’s not looking good” for him to be able to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, coach Nathaniel Hackett announced.

With Sutton sidelined, the team’s remaining top receivers will be Jerry Jeudy, Kendall Hinton, Jalen Virgil, Brandon Johnson and Montrell Washington (Tim Patrick and KJ Hamler are both on injured reserve).

Elsewhere on the injury front, Dakota Allen (hamstring), tight end/fullback Andrew Beck (hamstring), guard Dalton Risner (shoulder/back), offensive tackle Tom Compton (illness) and kicker Brandon McManus (quad) were also held out Wednesday.

Denver’s complete injury report from Wednesday can be seen below.

The Broncos will practice again on Thursday and Friday before releasing a final injury report with game statuses for Sunday. The Chiefs, who have 13-straight showdowns with Denver, are considered 9-point favorites against the Broncos this week.
