Broncos injuries: Baron Browning on track to return in Week 7

Broncos OLB Baron Browning (knee) is fully practicing this week and he appears to be on track to play against the Packers on Sunday.

After being limited at practice the last two weeks, Denver Broncos outside linebacker Baron Browning (knee) seems to be on track to return in time for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

Browning fully participated at practice on Wednesday and Thursday, a positive sign for his chances of being activated from the reserve/PUP list this week to the 53-man roster.

If the Broncos do activate Browning, they will have to make a corresponding move to make room on the roster for the pass rusher. One potential move the team could make is placing tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) on injured reserve. Dulcich did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday.

Denver’s complete Thursday injury report can be seen below.

Player Wed Thur Fri Game Status
TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) DNP DNP
DB Justin Simmons (hip) Limited Limited
DB Kareem Jackson (neck) Limited Full
OLB Baron Browning (knee/wrist) Full Full
C Lloyd Cushenberry (quad) Full Full
DL D.J. Jones (knee) Full Full

The Broncos will practice again on Friday before releasing a final injury report with game statuses for Week 7.

Sunday’s game will begin at 2:25 p.m. MT and will be televised on CBS in select TV markets. Green Bay is considered a slight favorite this week.
