The Denver Broncos have announced their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson (concussion), wide receiver Courtland Sutton (hamstring), wide receiver Kendall Hinton (hamstring), offensive lineman Quinn Bailey, defensive lineman Elijah Garcia, cornerback Michael Ojemudia and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam will not play against the Cardinals in Week 15.
With Wilson sidelined, the Broncos are set to start Brett Rypien for the second time this season. Rypien previously started in a 16-9 loss to the New York Jets in Week 7 when Wilson was out with a hamstring injury. Jarrett Guarantano, who just joined the practice squad last week, will serve as Rypien’s backup against Arizona.
At wide receiver, Denver’s top options this week are Jerry Jeudy, Jalen Virgil, Montrell Washington, Brandon Johnson and Freddie Swain. In addition to being without Sutton and Hinton, the Broncos are also missing Tim Patrick and KJ Hamler, who are both on injured reserve.
Denver leads the all-time series against the Cardinals 9-1-1, and the Broncos are considered a 2.5-point favorite at home this week.
