Broncos inactives: 5 players won’t suit up vs. Chiefs

Broncos inactives vs. Chiefs: DL Keondre Coburn, DL Elijah Garcia, OLB Thomas Incoom, DB JL Skinner and OL Alex Forsyth.

The Denver Broncos have announced their list of five inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Broncos nose tackle Keondre Coburn, defensive lineman Elijah Garcia, outside linebacker Thomas Incoom, safety JL Skinner and center Alex Forsyth are inactive this week.

Those five inactive players are members of the 53-man roster who are not eligible to play against the Chiefs in Week 8.

Elsewhere on the roster front, Denver placed wide receiver Brandon Johnson (hamstring) on injured reserve on Saturday. To fill Johnson’s former spot at receiver, the Broncos elevated Tre’Quan Smith from the practice squad to the game-day roster for Sunday’s showdown with KC. Smith will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.

Sunday’s game will begin at 2:25 p.m. MT and will be televised on CBS in select TV markets. The Chiefs are considered a betting favorite this week.
