Rutgers football offers Brian Robinson, an Ohio defensive end.

Rutgers football has gone out to Ohio once again, this time targeting an edge rusher with prototypical Big Ten length and size.

Four-star Brian Robinson of Fitch (Youngstown, OH) is a class of 2024 prospect who has an impressive list of Power Five offers. On Monday, Rutgers reached out and became the latest program to be involved.

He already holds offers from Power Five programs such as Boston College, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

According to the 247Sports Composite, he is ranked as the fifth-best player in Ohio in his recruiting class. He is the No. 13 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 170 prospect overall.

Rutgers currently has the No. 38 recruiting class in the nation according to 247Sports.

Ohio has become an area of emphasis in recent years for Rutgers football in terms of recruiting. In the previous recruiting cycle, Rutgers landed three-star guard Kwabena Asamoah from Ohio.
