NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger is back with more film breakdowns of Denver Broncos players following the team’s 26-7 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.
Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix and the offense came out hot with a back shoulder fade thrown to wide receiver Courtland Sutton.
“It’s perfect, just the way you draw it up,” Baldinger said of the play. After that, Nix threw another deep pass to receiver Josh Reynolds.
Baldinger showed that play and several other Nix throws in this video:
.@Broncos @BoNix10 was determined from the games first play that he was going to get the ball to his wide receivers. Offense had a little "JUMP JUMP" to it as a result. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/m8n7ns9Qzg

Baldinger also showed examples of Nix’s ability, including his touchdown run and the QB’s viral run after he avoided a sack:
.@Broncos @BoNix10 ran 9X…..6X for first downs scoring either TD's or extending drives. That defense is very good in Tampa. Solid win for DB and Bo. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/nQicaRr68z

“He’s a good runner,” Baldinger said of Nix. “He was at Oregon, he was throughout his college career, and it really benefited Denver with those first-down runs extending drives.”
Baldinger also reacted to Dondrea Tillman’s impressive NFL debut:
.@Broncos @dondreatillman2 showed up in a big way. Gotta be honest. Dont know mych about him but I wanna see more v @nyjets on Sunday #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/DhT8oh41da

To wrap up, here is Baldinger’s breakdown of safety Brandon Jones’ interception against Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield:
.@Broncos @BlessedJones33 executes this "Tampa 2" scheme to take away the deep shot in a high/low concept…He got his depth and width to make this game changing play. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/Ldf6X2tGqD

These “Baldy Breakdowns” are always a highlight of the week following Broncos games. Fans in Denver will hope there’s exciting film to review next week following the team’s road game against the New York Jets in Week 4.
