Former NFL offensive lineman and current NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger recently broke down Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton’s impressive one-handed touchdown catch in Week 6.
“This catch (Sunday) by Courtland Sutton is just an amazing catch over (Los Angeles Chargers) rookie (cornerback) Tarheeb Still,” Baldinger said in a video on X. “One-handed, bam! Sticking right to the glove and I think he controlled it the whole way.
“They talked about it, but this look-this catch and the concentration right here looking it right in getting both hands on it. Elbow down, knee down, control of the ball. Courtland Sutton (with) maybe the catch of the day. I haven’t seen everything yet, but that’s some amazing catch right there.”
Sutton had his second touchdown catch of the season, as he leads the team in catches (21) and receiving yards (277) in 2024.
Last year, Sutton had 10 receiving touchdowns. We’ll have to wait and see if he can come anywhere close to that total, with 11 games to go.
