[autotag]Bret Holmes Racing[/autotag] sat out the last two races of the 2023 NASCAR Truck Series season to regroup for the 2024 season. On Friday evening, the NASCAR team made its return official. For the second straight season, Bret Holmes will drive the No. 32 truck full-time. In 2023, Holmes had a best finish of 13th place at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March.
It was a disappointing year for Holmes after a successful eight-race schedule in 2022 that featured a second-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway behind Matt DiBenedetto. The No. 32 team didn’t have the needed speed to compete in 2023, but a technical alliance with Spire Motorsports should increase the organization’s competitiveness.
So ready for year two in @NASCAR_Trucks this season! We’ve made a lot of changes this off season and I’m really excited about the direction our team is headed! pic.twitter.com/pFttBTw72z

Holmes will also have Mike Shiplett as his crew chief for the 2024 NASCAR season, who only appeared in one race with Austin Hill in 2023. Shiplett spent several years with Cole Custer in the NASCAR Cup Series. Bret Holmes Racing is pulling out all of the stops to make 2024 its best yet after a rough 2023 season.
