Wisconsin lost out on a 2021 transfer target when RB Markese Stepp announced his decision this morning. The 2018 four-star USC signee decided to transfer after three years in Southern California, and has been linked to multiple Big Ten schools. He is indeed heading to the Big Ten, but not to Madison, Wisconsin.
Stepp is an Indiana native, and will be moving closer to home with his decision. This morning on Twitter, the former USC RB announced his commitment to Nebraska:

Stepp joins Scott Frost and the Huskers with a chance to immediately lead the backfield in Lincoln. The Badgers will likely see Stepp when Wisconsin and Nebraska meet at Memorial Stadium on November 20, 2021.
