The Oregon Ducks beat the Ohio State Buckeyes on the field, and they just got a victory over them in the recruiting world as well.
On Wednesday morning, 5-star cornerback Na’eem Offord announced that he would be flipping his commitment from the Buckeyes and signing with the Ducks instead.
This is a massive win for Oregon, who now has gotten four of the top-10 ranked defensive backs in the 2025 class. Offord is rated as the No. 11 overall player in 2025, and the No. 2 CB.
The Ducks also were able to flip 5-star quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele from the California Golden Bears on Wednesday, kicking off the fireworks.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Ducks signed CB Brandon Finney, the No. 5 defensive back in the class, and they are expecting both 4-star Dorian Brew and 5-star Trey McNutt to sign today as well.

Standing at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, Offord has a great build at the cornerback position, and he will add to the elite depth that the Ducks have built at that position over the past couple of years.
For the last several weeks, this battle for Offord’s commitment has come down to Ohio State, Auburn, and Oregon. While many of the predictions were for the Tigers to ultimately flip him from the Buckeyes, it’s the Ducks that pulled it off in the end.
