Alabama football head coach Nick Saban has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, according to Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News.
The report of Saban’s positive test also references University of Alabama’s Ahletic Director Greg Byrne testing positive, as well.
Reports claim Saban left the facility shortly after receiving word of his positive test, but Hurt cliams Saban was the one directing practice today, which could mean a potential transmission threat thoughout the program.
Alabama played Ole Miss last Saturday, and their Head Coach Lane Kiffin has reported an outbreak within their program.
