Brandon Miller says that neither LeBron James or Michael Jordan is the GOAT

Brandon Miller has shocking answer to the NBA GOAT debate!

The NBA draft will officially get underway tomorrow evening at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on ESPN/ABC at 8 p.m. CT. Former Alabama basketball stand-out, [autotag]Brandon Miller[/autotag], is widely expected to be the second overall selection in the draft to the Charlotte Hornets as a report came out late last night stating that they had come to their decision.

Leading up to the draft this week, the top prospects have been meeting with the media. While speaking with reporters, Miller is asked if he thinks Michael Jordan or LeBron James is the greatest basketball player of all time. It’s a loaded question as the team that will likely select him, the Hornets, has been owned by Jordan since 2010. Miller didn’t let that change his opinion though.

Miller said in response to the GOAT debate, “I actually don’t think that LeBron is the GOAT of basketball. My GOAT of basketball is Paul George. I always grew up watching him.”

Paul George is arguably one of the best two way players in NBA history, but it is the first time I have ever heard anyone declare PG-13 as the GOAT. Ironically, George has been the leading NBA comparison for Miller throughout the draft process as they are both lengthy wings standing at about 6’9. Miller’s length will be a massive defensive asset in the league and shot nearly 40% from three in college.
