Brandon Crawford’s children had the most adorable reaction to his epic walkoff home run against the Diamondbacks

Staying up late to see dad win the ballgame

There are few things worse as kid than watching your favorite team locked in a tight game against a division rival only to hear your parents tell you it’s time for bed.

How on Earth are you supposed to just switch into sleep mode when there’s a chance for your team to pull off an epic comeback?

This was the dilemma faced by Brandon Crawford’s children on Tuesday night—or rather, by their mother.

With the Giants (+100) trailing the Diamondbacks, 1-0, in the ninth inning, Jalynne Crawford decided to let their kids stay up just a bit longer since Dad was due up fourth in the ninth inning. Sure enough, Thairo Estrada rocketed a triple with two outs to bring Crawford to the plate as the winning run.

He made sure his kids wouldn’t be able to fall asleep anytime soon.

Just the absolute coolest.

Crawford got to see the video in the clubhouse after and quickly signed off on his wife’s parenting decisions.

“It’s awesome,” Crawford told reporters. “I’m glad she kept the kids up.”
