On Tuesday night from inside Coleman Coliseum, [autotag]Nate Oats[/autotag] and the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team completely dominated the South Carolina Gamecocks, 74-47 to improve to 2-0 in SEC play, 10-5 overall.
After a slow start to the game and a sluggish first half that saw the Tide hold just a one-point lead, Alabama came out and obliterated the Gamecocks in the second half outscoring South Carolina 44-18 in the final 20 minutes.
Alabama was led all night by senior guard Mark Sears who poured in 31 points on an efficient shooting night where he went 10-13 from the field.
