Box Score Breakdown: Clemson’s stat leaders from 51-45 thriller over Wake Forest

Clemson Wire takes a deep dive into the Tiger’s leaders on the stat sheet following their thrilling win over Wake Forest.

Fifth-ranked Clemson remains undefeated after a thrilling double overtime fourth-down stop to overtake No. 21 Wake Forest on the road.

In the Tigers 51-45 win over the Demon Deacons, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei was firing on all cylinders, completing 26-for-41 passes (63%) for 371 yards and five touchdowns (a career high) along with 52 yards rushing.

In his career-high performance in Saturday’s win, Uiagalelei became the first Clemson player to throw for at least 300 yards, rush for 50 or more yards and throw at least three touchdowns in a game since Deshaun Watson back in 2016.

En route to the win, the second-year starter connected with seven different receivers, four of which recorded at least four receptions for 30 yards or more.
