What about a game that involves the Texas Longhorns playing against an old adversary in Mike Leach. According to the 247Sports bowl projections, they could face off against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. They would meet in Houston at the Texas Bowl in NRG Stadium.
Longhorns fans are no strangers to facing the Air Raid offense from Leach’s time in the Big 12 at Texas Tech. Or the infamous fake play sheet fiasco when he was at Oklahoma. During his time in Lubbock, Leach was 2-7 against the Longhorns. Both times he won, the Longhorns were a top-five team in the country.
The Longhorns could make it a 2-8 after beating Leach one more time.
