Boston’s Payton Pritchard registers trademark for new ‘PP’ logo – merch coming soon?

Fast PP merch might be coming our way soon.

It didn’t take too long into his NBA career for Boston Celtics second-year floor general Payton Pritchard to register a trademark, but they call him Fast PP for a reason.

Jokes aside, Pritchard has reportedly filed for a trademark application for a new logo, according to trademark lawyer Josh Gerben via Boardroom, presumably to use with branded gear and merchandise. Those among us who didn’t know they needed Payton Pritchard branded athletic gear will perhaps someday soon be able to cop it, with the Oregon alumnus having filed on Nov. 2 for the logo to be trademarked.

No further word on how the logo will be used, or when we can expect to see some Fast PP gear in a store near you, but count us in if Pritchard needs any merchandise reviews.
