Boston’s Jrue Holiday clarifies injury ‘not a dead arm’

Evidently, it was just a hard hit.

There has been considerable concern about the health of veteran Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday after reports came out suggesting that the UCLA alum has an affliction called ‘dead arm”. But Holiday addressed the media on Monday before the Celtics’ game against the Atlanta Hawks to set the record straight on his injury.

Regarding the sprained AC joint in his right shoulder that sidelined him for Boston’s game in Atlanta on Monday, Holiday clarified, “Not a dead arm. I got hit on my shoulder, and it felt like my arm went dead. But it’s not a nerve thing or anything. It’s just the part of the shoulder that I got hit in, but my shoulder is fine.”

CLNS Media’s Bobby Manning broke down what we’re hearing about Holiday’s health on a recent episode of the “Garden Report” podcast. Check it out below.
