Boston’s Joe Mazzulla just needs to chill out, according to these NBA analysts

Mazzulla’s postgame comportment rubs some the wrong way — even after wins.

By most accounts, Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla is doing a great job at almost every aspect of his job at the helm of the Celtics as he tries to shepherd Boston back to the NBA Finals.

But when it comes to owning some of the mistakes the team makes on the court — or behind his clipboard — the Rhode Island native can be a bit combative with the media.

This not-exactly-hostile bedside manner has encouraged even more speculation and attention from the media than if he had simply acknowledged some of those missteps in the past. Now, he is a topic of conversation for the WEEI “Gresh and Fauria” sports radio talk show because of his postgame comments after Game 2 of the Celtics’ Eastern Conference semifinals series.

Take a look at the clip embedded below to get the gist of their issue with Mazzulla’s words after Boston’s big win on this past Wednesday.
