Boston two way big man Neemias Queta gets double-double in Celtics loss to Golden State

Not everything about the Boston Celtics’ recent overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors is forgettable.

Not everything about the Boston Celtics‘ recent overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors is forgettable for fans of the Celtics. Boston got a surprisingly good outing from two way big man Neemias Queta with star center Kristaps Porzingis taking the night off to nurse a strained calf back to health.

And the Portuguese big man more than made the most of his opportunity, putting up the first double-double of his career with the team. Queta logged 10 points, as many rebounds, an assist, and as many steals in 21 minutes of floor time. That he did it with no turnovers or personal fouls against a team as crafty as the Warriors is even more impressive, as was his field goal percentage, going 5-of-8 from the floor overall.

If you didn’t get a chance to see him cook live, or just want to see the best of his play without the soul-crushing loss as part of the bargain, check out the clip put together by the folks behind the Bllen YouTube channel embedded below.
