Booze and baseball? Sounds great as Brew Pig Sooie back for Florida series

Uh, yes, please!

If there’s one thing Arkansansans like, it’s alcohol and sports together.

Well, actually, who doesn’t.

Brew Pig Sooie, a beer festival introduced in the fall during Arkansas soccer season, is returning this spring. The tasting event will be held Sunday, April 28 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. presumably at or near Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville, though the press release did not state an exact location.

For $40, attendees get a ticket to the event with access to more than 20 breweries, several of which are local, a five-ounce tasting glass, and a Brew Pig Sooie t-shirt. With the five-ounce glass, attendees get unlimited sample pours.

Arkansas is encouraging fans who attend Brew Pig Sooie to stick around for the Diamond Hogs’ series finale against Florida. Tickets for that game can purchased for $20 in the Hog Pen and both tickets can be purchased together at the link.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
