Nine home runs in three games is quite the tally.
Arkansas is quite the team.
The Diamond Hogs hit two home runs Sunday against Wright State to bring their series tally to nine in a 6-2 win over the Raiders that allowed for a sweep. The win is Arkansas’ fourth straight.
Jace Bohrofen took his turn to have a dynamite day on Sunday. The outfielder went 3 for 4 with a solo home run to break a 1-all tie in the sixth and he finished with 3 RBI, tacking on a two-run single in the eight.
Parker Rowland also went yard, his second of the year, to lead off the scoring in the seventh. Arkansas would score four in the inning and bat around as Rowland hit into a fielder’s choice for the final out of the frame.
Hunter Hollan was steady on the mound for the Razorbacks. He pitched six innings and gave up just a single run while striking out five. Koty Frank and Cody Adcock finished things off for the final three innings.
Jared Wegner and John Bolton also had RBI singles for the Diamond Hogs.
Arkansas is back quickly when Army visits on Tuesday.
