Bobby Wagner adds another point for Hall of Fame case

Bobby Wagner adds another point for Hall of Fame case

One of the least shocking statement anyone can utter these days is this: Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner is a first ballot Hall of Famer. It is beyond evident how obvious it is Wagner is destined for Canton one day, as he has forged one of the single greatest careers a linebacker has ever had in this league.

But when you step back and truly think about his accomplishments, they are simply stunning. Of course, legends don’t achieve legend status without innumerous accolades. One more Wagner can add to his resume is the number of times he has been named an All Pro. See for yourself how No. 54 stacks up:

Ray Lewis and Lawrence Taylor are certainly good company to keep when it comes to how you stack up in the grand scheme of NFL history.

Wagner has stated he plans to play football in 2024. Considering he led the entire league in total tackles, this should not come as a surprise to anyone. The 10-time All Pro has plenty of gas left in the tank.

His current contract in Seattle was only for one year. Hopefully, the Seahawks will see the value he still brings and ensure Wagner’s 2024 is not spent in another city.
