Bo Nix made Broncos franchise history vs. the Raiders

Bo Nix is the first Broncos rookie quarterback in franchise history to win three consecutive games.

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix had the best game of his career against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

Nix went 19-of-27 passing (70.4%) for 206 yards with two touchdown passes, one touchdown run and no interceptions in a 34-18 win. Nix spread the ball around, completing at least one pass to 11 different teammates. That set a new franchise record for the most players to catch at least one pass in a single game.

The Broncos have now won three straight games and Nix is the first rookie quarterback in franchise history with three consecutive wins. Nix also became the team’s first rookie to throw two touchdown passes, run for a touchdown and not throw any interceptions in a single game.

Nix also became the team’s first quarterback since Tim Tebow (2010) to throw multiple touchdown passes and run for a score in the same game. Nix’s three rushing touchdowns already rank second for a rookie quarterback in team history, only trailing Tebow (six).

Nix certainly hasn’t been perfect, but he’s trending in the right direction.
