Stefon Diggs earned a number of honors in 2020 en route to leading the NFL in receiving during his first season with the Buffalo Bills. The now All-Pro wideout added a couple of dollars via contract incentives, too.
According to the Buffalo News, Diggs hit two different incentives, each of which was worth approximately $658 thousand. Combined, that’ll land Diggs just over $1.3 million extra.
The first was surpassing 100 catches and the other was putting up at least 1,375 receiving yards. As the story went, Diggs led the NFL in both catches (127) and receiving yardage (1,535).
In addition, according to the report, the 27-year-old also will see a salary increase of $1.5M in 2022 and a $1.6M salary increase in 2023 because he hit these milestones. Diggs will now average $15.9M per year following the bumps, 12th most among his position in the league.
Per Spotrac, his cap hit in 2021 will be $13M.
Solid investment by the Bills…
