Previous coverage:

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie suffered a shoulder injury in his team’s season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While returning a punt, McKenzie called for a fair catch and after catching the ball in the first quarter he, appeared to be in pain. He immediately went to the medical team on Buffalo’s sideline.

The Bills officially ruled McKenzie as questionable to return.

To open the game, McKenzie had one prior return, the game’s opening kickoff, and he returned the ball 75 yards.

During the preseason, McKenzie was dealing with a shoulder injury but at this time it’s unclear if it’s the same arm.

McKenzie was hit in a practice by safety Jordan Poyer and sustained his original injury.

Bills Wire will provide further updates as they become available.
