Devin Singletary vs. Todd Davis
Many Bills fans will be calling for more carries for the rookie Devin Singletary. ‘Motor’ has been electric for Buffalo’s offense and can be utilized as both a runner and a pass catcher. Singletary has averaged 6.1 yards per carry and has 383 rushing yards, pair that his two rushing touchdowns he has proved himself as a reliable weapon for Buffalo.
When facing the Dolphins he had 75 yards on the ground, and his 15 carries created a balance on the offense which led to a more dynamic offense. This dynamic offense led to the best offensive performance from the Bills this season.
Todd Davis plays as the right inside linebacker for the Denver Broncos which gives him the responsibility of stopping the opposing teams running back. So far this season Davis has 66 tackles, with plenty of them coming at the line of scrimmage or before a running back can reach the second level. Davis and the Broncos rush defense has allowed an average of just 100.5 yards per game. That impressive stat puts them at 11th in the NFL.
If Davis wants to force Josh Allen to win the game for Buffalo he will need to wrap up the shifty Devin Singletary before he can make chunk plays on the ground.
