The Buffalo Bills once again had a presence at the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Final over the weekend.
And it was All-Pro Von Miller… again.
The NHL’s Colorado Avalanche went on to win the final on Sunday evening in Game 6 down in Tampa against the Lightning. Miller was not on deck for that contest.
Rather, Miller was in Denver for the Game 5 faceoff which was at Ball Arena in Denver. Previously Miller was there for Game 2.
However, the luck did not follow him.
After seeing the Avs notch a blowout win a week prior, Miller saw a loss on Friday in Game 5. At least his team went on to win the cup in the end.
Miller played for the Denver Broncos from 2011-2021, leading the team to victory in Super Bowl 50 following the 2015 season. He is the team’s all-time leader in sacks (110.5) and he earned eight Pro Bowl nods in Denver.
Clearly Miller still feels a connection to the area even if he did sign a massive contract with the Bills this offseason:
