Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs signed his four-year extension with the team last week.
After making things official, Diggs admitted via press conference that not a lot of people thought the two sides would get to this point. There were many doubters.
“It’s crazy because when I first got traded to Buffalo, besides the Mafia and the people who are fans of Buffalo, not too many people thought it was going to work out, ‘Well the Bills… da da da da da,’ and two years from now I can smile and say, you know, God works in mysterious ways,” Diggs said.
Under contract now through the 2027 season, Diggs can confidently say things have worked out in Buffalo.
In order to get to this point, Diggs said, in a way, he ignored all that outside noise. He mentioned how he came to to the Bills hoping to make Buffalo home. It happened.
Check out Diggs’ full response on signing his extension to keep him with the Bills via WIVB-TV in Buffalo:
"I felt like my next spot was my last spot. I wanted it to be my home and I didn't want to ever go anywhere."
