For the first time in the offseason saga, Stefon Diggs was front and center.
As the Buffalo Bills opened their 2023 training camp on Wednesday at St. John Fisher University, Diggs spoke via video conference for the first time since the 2022 season.
In between then and now… a lot has happened. Most notably, Diggs sat out of the first day of minicamp this spring. As that unfolded, the situation was flipped on its head when head coach Sean McDermott said he was “very conconcered” by Diggs’ absence, only to backtrack on that comment.
But finally the man himself has spoken. Diggs has now done his part in quelling any fears in Buffalo. He says everything is good and well in the Bills locker room.
“I mean, the year before I told you that I wanted to retire a Buffalo Bill,” Diggs said. “All is well in the Mafia household.”

Stefon Diggs spoke for about 20 minutes. He was very forthcoming and candid. But I think these three minutes were the most telling #BillsMafia @WKBW pic.twitter.com/gmfUPgstQb
