(Update 12:57 p.m.): Stefon Diggs returned to practice on Wednesday but it’s still unclear who his cryptic message was about:
Previously coverage:
As it seemed the Stefon Diggs-Buffalo Bills drama was calming down after practice ended, it returned.
On Tuesday, the team took to the first day of mandatory minicamp without Diggs. The 29-year-old reciever did not appear at the first of the three days worth of workouts.
Head coach Sean McDermott announced that Diggs was a no-show. He added that he was “very concerned.”
From there, Diggs’ agent suggested that the situation between the two sides was being “worked on.” Diggs’ rep also questioned McDermott’s comments because the receiver was at practice then left.
In addition to the coach, quarterback Josh Allen and pass rusher Von Miller spoke at One Bills Drive on Day 1 of minicamp.
They are all important to note thanks to the latest twist.
Who was Diggs talking about in a cryptic post to his social media account? It’s unclear. It could be one of that Bills trio, it could be someone else in Buffalo.
Regardless, here’s what Diggs’ message had to say… considering everything that unfolded the past 24 hours, it’s likely about somebody related to the team:

Now we’re left wondering who “big dawg” is… and Diggs is no stranger to such posts on social media.
On Wednesday, the team will hit the field for another day of minicamp workouts. It remains to be seen if Diggs will be in Orchard Park or what the next update will be.
Bills Wire will continue to provide information as it’s made available.
