Bills’ Spencer Brown on extension: ‘Buffalo is the city for me’

#Bills’ Spencer Brown on extension: ‘Buffalo is the city for me’

Spencer Brown is sticking around western New York and he could not be happier.

On Friday, the Buffalo Bills announced that the 26-year-old inked an extension with the team. Terms of the deal were not announced but the Bills confirmed he’s now signed through the 2028 season.

Brown, 26, was Buffalo’s third-round selection at the 2021 NFL draft. Viewed as a raw prospect out of Northern Iowa, Brown had a slow start to his NFL career and injuries did not help.

Speaking at a press conference after signing his extension, Brown said he wanted to stay put.

“Buffalo is the city for me,” Brown said per the Buffalo News. “It’s a city that goes well my morals, my style of living, and that’s why I didn’t want to leave at all.”

In terms of his journey, Brown mentioned how persevering through injuries and putting trust in himself is what got him to this point.
