#Bills’ Sean McDermott on #Cardinals comeback: ‘It’s how we play’

The Buffalo Bills only needed one game in the 2024 NFL season to circle those wagons.

Trailing by 17-3 scoreline against the Arizona Cardinals in their season opener, the Bills roared back for a 34-28 win.

It takes both talent and mental toughness to pull that off.

“It’s hard to win,” Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott said. “It doesn’t really matter–who you play, where you play, it’s how you play, how we play.”

Within the battle was a key swing which was pointed out by quarterback Josh Allen.

Allen noted how, despite a poor performance for much of the first half, Buffalo managed to score a touchdown just before halftime. That cut the score to 17-10.

Then out of the half, another touchdown tied the contest.

“The key was double dipping,” Allen said.
