The circumstances are still not fully known, but Buffalo Bills co-owner Kim Pegula is some going through sort of medical situation.
The team and Pegula family released a statement regarding the issue, which called the circumstances “unexpected.”
News on Pegula came about on Tuesday, the same day the football team took the field for mandatory minicamp.
Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott was the first one to speak via video conference ahead of the practice. He offered support during the ongoing situation.
Here is McDermott’s statement below:
“What they’re going through, [we] let them know that our thoughts and prayers are with them. What they’ve done for me, my family, for this team and this city and western New York–Just being there for them, all of us collectively, offering our prayers, our support, and giving them the privacy that they need I think is important at this time. So, I know you’ll have some questions, I respect those questions, but I also know that I know what’s important now, that we’re all thinking of them and supporting them in every way we can.”
