The Buffalo Bills got an effort out of Gabe Davis against the Los Angeles Chargers that many have been waiting a long time for.
In the 24-22 win, the Bills receiver had four catches for 130 yards and a touchdown. In the six games prior to that, Buffalo (9-6) did not get a catch out of Davis.
Following the outing, Bills head coach Sean McDermott called Davis’ game a matter of time in the making.
“He just stayed with it and the ball just finds you do things the right way. I’m extremely proud of him for it,” McDermott said.
Davis himself echoed a similar sentiment. As he often does, Davis said he was just looking to do his part.
“I just kept doing my job the best way I know how,” Davis said. “Things aren’t going to go your way all the time, but that’s just life.”
