Bills salary cap update coming out of free agency

Buffalo Bills salary cap number following 2021 free agency according to NFLPA.

The Bills kept much of their business in-house during 2021’s free agency period. Getting players to re-sign was of the upmost importance to general manager Brandon Beane.

In baseball terms, Beane hit for the cycle. He brought back all of the team’s biggest free agents: linebacker Matt Milano and offensive linemen Daryl Williams and Jon Feliciano.

But a few outside additions did happen, most notably wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

Helping along the way were some cap causalities, like wideout John Brown, and contract restructures.

All-in-all, it seems like a good time to update the team’s salary cap situation with most of the free agency dust settled.

The NFLPA updates team salary cap’s each day via their public report. According to the players’ association, the Bills have $5.605 million in cap space right now.

Not included in that mix are the future salary cap figures for rookies. Buffalo has seven total draft picks scattered around the 2021 NFL Draft. Over The Cap estimates those costing the Bills $2.244M.

The Bills still have plenty of room for those and could potentially move some things around to finish filling out their roster depth as well.
