The Buffalo Bills will be missing a key piece along the defensive front when facing the New England Patriots on Sunday.
On Saturday, the Bills officially ruled out defensive tackle Ed Oliver for the Week 7 divisional matchup.
Oliver has recorded 24 combined tackles and four sacks on the season. He last played against the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 8, when he recorded nine combined tackles and a sack.
Running back Damien Harris will also not be available for Sunday’s game. The former Patriot has recorded 23 carries for 94 yards and a touchdown on the season. He suffered a neck injury and a concussion against the New York Giants in Week 6.
Ed Oliver is OUT for the Bills this weekend. Big loss for Buffalo. An opportunity for the Pats to maybe muck it up, considering fellow DT DaQuan Jones is also out and the Bills haven't gotten consistent play from his replacements. https://t.co/UesIMALgBT

The Patriots will try to pick up their second win of the season by knocking off a Bills team that has had their number in recent years. We’ll see if they can turn the tables on their rivals with a key defensive player like Oliver being sidelined.
